I was attacked by a large dog and was injured. My attorney was Daniel Sevcik. An insurance company denied my claim over and over and Daniel didn’t take no for an answer, obtained and submitted concrete evidence, wrote letters in my defense, whereas insurance company was forced to re-open my case. We settled out of court, and we were awarded our full demand for the full limit to their liability. Justice served. Highly recommend Daniel for animal attacks and dealing with insurance liabilities. The Derrick Law firm gave me a hands on opportunity to get an insight as to what goes into being on a potential jury for a case that goes to court for a civil matter involving personal injury. We were instructed about the rules of the court and how to come to a conclusion within ourselves as to what our opinion of what our verdict might be. Of course our confidentiality was a priority… as it should be. It was an eye opener as to how much background work presentation and preparation goes into each case. Our few hours was just a drop in the bucket!!! Dirk and his fellow lawyer were sincere professional and personable. It was a relaxed and yet very serious experience comparing our thoughts within the group. Sometimes as we might agree on some points there was a difference of opinion on others… sometimes because we all have had different life experiences. All in all it was a learning experience and one that I think all would benefit from. The refreshments were delicious and a nice touch. Their staff were very helpful and friendly too. The monetary compensation was much appreciated. Despite all this I would certainly recommend this firm to represent me my family members or friends. For me I just know when someone has my best interests at heart.

Unsatisfactory services to say the least. Involved in accident 7 months ago. They’re quick to get out and accept your case, but results aren’t fast as commercials state. Maybe it’s a tactic to ensure everyone is compensated for time appropriately, but communication would solve most issues. You call, get screened and promised a call back which never is returned. Emails that state they’ve been opened and read, but not responded too. Was recommended by a friend who works for company, and to say the least, he understands my frustration. Never Again.

If I could give fewer than 1 star, I would. My husband is 100% total and permanent disabled with the VA, including the designation of “unemployable.” We found out that she didn’t even submit his VA disability award record, and records submitted from doctors weren’t his (said he has diabetes when he doesn’t, etc). Could the underlings be ANY more incompetent??? And be very clear, it isn’t Mr Sink you’re ever going to be dealing with. This isn’t practice-being-a-lawyer time. It’s people’s lives you’re messing up!

Last March I got in a car accident and sustained pretty serious injuries. My family thought it would be wise to get me a lawyer and I was assigned to Dan and Cindy. They were great! Sometimes response times were slow and it was a long process getting ahold of insurance but that wasn’t their fault. It was my first experience with this and they were able to get me a good sum after all my medical bills were paid. So I’m satisfied and would recommend them!

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! Cindy was The ”paralegal” on my case and she was very difficult & unresponsive. All she did was text, I had to call her to have an actual phone conversation . Because of her, my case dragged on for longer than it actually needed to, I had to call her for information that wasn’t my job to figure out. Anything she would ask for (pictures, hospital bills, etc.) I would be attentive and responsive, & she would take weeks to reply or sometimes she wouldn’t reply at all. It boiled down to Bob Young, the actual lawyer having to do her job. No actual problems with him, but when you don’t correct the poor behavior of your workers, it ultimately falls on you. When I met with him in the conference room, he even said it was odd that we were able to get the job done vs when we were working with Cindy. Cindy treated me as if all I was worried about was a check. Cindy gave me the run around wasting my time and gas. She told me to pick up my check that had arrived, once I got there the receptionist sat me in a conference room and told me to wait so I waited about 20 minutes until I finally went out and asked where she was and the receptionist told me she left 10 minutes ago to go on break. Then I found out the check wasn’t even there. The next day I got notified it was actually there so I had to go there yet AGAIN to pick it up. In conclusion, I wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy to go to George Sink after a car incident, ESPECIALLY having Cindy as a “paralegal.” I wish I would’ve fired her the first opportunity I got. You will be disrespected and have your time wasted.

I had a scheduled appointment , was 15 minutes early, and the person I was scheduled to MEET 1: wasn’t there. Come to find out we were going to have a “web conference “ and 2: After waiting for WELL OVER 20 minutes our scheduled appointment time, for her to call in, asking the receptionist if the person I had an appointment with was aware I was in the office, patiently waiting; as instructed... The receptionist quick response:”let me double check”. Then shuts me back in the conference room for an additional 10 minutes of silence. Nothing. By then I had wasted Far too much time for someone who didn’t have the common respect to at LEAST be professional enough to inform me OR their staff that they would need to reschedule. I walked out by that time. Absolutely Disgusted. **Edit** Yes. I see your response to this review “Mr. Owner”. I bet you can’t find me in your system. Would make a lot of sense as to why I had such a awful experience. Do not question my intelligence I know full well who I’m leaving a review on. YOU can contact me (like your receptionist initially said you would to reschedule, or did you never get that message either?) I’ve wasted enough time on you as it is.

These type of lawyers give all lawyers a bad name. He is just an ambulance chaser with money to put tacky commercials on broadcast TV. Then, after testing a variety of different commercials where he says he's an ex-teacher or an ex veteran he sees which commercials will work best and then uses those. Then he only takes winnable cases that someone would win even without a lawyer and takes 30% of your settlement. He's a lowlife low life

Burriss and Ridgeway are hands down the best firm in South Carolina. Just like their slogan says, they listen, they care, they deliver!!! After being involved in a car accident where someone ran a stop sign and crashed into me, Burriss and Ridgeway surely did deliver!!! Not only that they reassured me again and again that they would handle my case with care and get me a satisfactory result! They took care of things to the point where I barely had to lift a finger. In the future if I am involved in a motor vehicle accident I will most certainly will reach out for their services again! I (and my family) are clients of theirs for life!

This is my second time using this firm. I cannot express enough gratitude to Mr. Tippens. I have sought him out a few different times and each time him and his team have gone above and beyond. Dealing with accidents is stressful enough but add relocating to the mix. In the process of moving from NC to GA, my collision happened the day of travel! Needing to lock in certain appointments to help mend injuries was causing anxiety because I didn't want to stay in Charlotte just to attend said appointments. Mentioning my concerns to Mr. Tippens, he was able to set up and oversee everything in GA from NC meticulously. He definitely made the experience a far less stressful one and was always available to reach for questions pertaining to ANYTHING.

Before I was referred to Tippens & Zurosky by a friend, I was in a vulnerable spot in dealing with the insurance company. It was overwhelming and scary, but they took the weight of it all off of my shoulders so that I could focus on healing and getting back to work. The entire team that I dealt with was excellent. They kept me informed AND let me know when things might be quiet for awhile as they waiting for responses. (I'm an anxious person, so that guidance really helped me manage my expectations.) Situations like mine can take a long time, but they were on top of everything. They were in my corner and I knew that they wouldn't stop until they were successful for me. Totally recommend!

My wife was in accident in March of this year. It was ruled that it was 100% the other person's fault. We contacted this office after 4 months of getting nowhere with our insurance company. It is now December and we've seen no action outside of the sending a packet to the insurance company. Giving them 30% of what we get is WAY more than they deserve. Especially since they no longer answer our phone calls or emails. Would not recommend.

I did not even get to speak to a lawyer but a clerical person who said she was able to talk to an attorney and that his case load was just too large to be able to do his due diligence. Hogwash! He didn't want to have to do a little work. Heck, he couldn't even be bothered to pick up the phone. That's fine. I would never refer anyone to this firm.

I was reluctant about hiring an attorney after my accident but did not feel comfortable with the insurance company of the driver at fault so I picked Marcari, Russotto, Spencer & Balaban because they immediately put me at ease. They were very professional but also laid back. Made me feel like family. I recommend them if you find yourself in the unfortunate circumstance of needing an attorney.
They refused to help me with my Case and they didn’t even offer to refer me to someone else who could. I definitely do NOT recommend them to anyone they seem to not have an interest to help people in need and don’t be fooled by the “Positive Reviews” on here because they are probably being made by the Lawyers themselves or either they are paying people to leave a “Positive Review” for them.
